What we’ve been up to since Sunday.
We came home from church and started making messes!
And we haven’t stopped since.
We baked sugar cookies for the neighbors.
Obviously made by professionals.
And labeled appropriately.
I try to make up for it by the fact that Grammy’s sugar cookies taste delicious. And I deliver them the second they’re made. So if you’re brave enough to try one you’d be pleasantly surprised.
I’ve slept in for the month of December. This is how I wake up. When all six of them are on top of me and I can’t breathe, the game is up.
For Monday’s Advent I dug through the craft bin and found all the crafts that Grandma sent us from LAST Christmas, that I never did. And then gave them all to Daddy.
Daddy is not a crafter, but he could read the manual for assembling a nuclear reactor and come out fine in the end. If it comes with directions, it’s his.
Especially if the directions are in Dollar Store English.
Gideon and Jehu, “Our work here is done.”
On Tuesday Jael’s friend came over and I let them bake cookies by themselves.
Which makes it even more fun.
And then on Wednesday we babysit my friend’s four kids. They ate pizza, duct taped flash lights to themselves and ran around outside, played swords and ping pong, and got into the Christmas candy. 😉
Today we pack.
