My husband got home from work Halloween day and I said, “Behold, I have costumed these seven children in under an hour and did not spend any money.” What a good wife.
It’s kinda my Halloween policy. You can wear whatever you can find the day of, that didn’t cost me anything. Be creative. And don’t forget, it will be dark. “Comeon Gideon, no one will ever know that that’s a Sacajawea costume you have on backwards!” Also, acrylics make great face paint. Of course, it helps that we have a Halloween box that we add to all yard sale season. I am pretty confident they can find something in there. The littlest kids, on the other hand, all cycle through the same Old Navy costumes from when Gideon and Jehu were little. Do you remember that? Crazy, isn’t it? That way they are always warm and snug as bugs. 🙂
