Mrs. Marc Otto

I am the well-loved wife of Marc Otto and the enthusiastic mother of Gideon, Jehu, Jael, Rahab, Judith, Eve, and Uriah.  I love my life, I love my people, and I love my God.  Sometime, long ago, I dug down deep and struck bedrock.  I found that place to stick my feet.  And ever since then I have been busily building.  Whatever I think, whatever I do, whatever I bake, paint, teach, sew, write, love – it all comes back to that rock.  I am here for a reason and I have work to do.  Because some day, the King is coming home.  Then, when the scales fall from our eyes, each man’s work will become evident.  “For the Day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work.  If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward.  If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.”

And personally, I love the feel of the plow under my hand.  Bring it.
